Color & Textures Inspire Me
After leaving the left brain world of hospital administration, I chose to a let my right brain take over and I set out to play with fabrics and yarns. It was a logical (again left brain self) next step to begin showing my work and selling my items, both online and in local galleries and shows. This journey with fiber has led me to explore new mediums, learn new techniques, and meet many kindred spirits. My goal is to share my love of color, texture and fiber with others, whether through selling my work or sharing stories.
I am a member of the Studio Art Quilt Association. My work has been published in several books, magazines, and collections and been juried into local and global exhibitions. The fibers and fabrics I use in the items I make have been chosen for the joy the colors and textures give me when I work with fabrics and yarns. A number of the hand knit scarves are made with fibers that have been dyed and spun by other artists. I hope that the shopper will find something special for a gift or find inspiration to take their own fiber journey.

Creating Connections
As a member of the volunteer committee for Sacred Threads Quilts, I was asked to be part of the "Stories of Joy" for the 2019 exhibit. My story was about my travels on a textile tour in Vietnam and includes piece of indigo batiks from my travels. This piece was featured in my article "Taking Art Panels That Next Step" in Quilting Arts Magazine June/July 2020
