This small wall quilt evokes the water elements with lotus blossoms and koi ponds. The quilt is 18 by 23 and the colors and fabrics were selected as part of a challenge to represent one of the four elements.
Water is represented in this small wall hanging through the color and fabric selection of batiks and prints as well as the quilting. There are koi, gold fish, lotus blossoms, and whirlpools to represent the theme. The piece has been machine pieced and quilted and is embellished with several mother of pearl flowers and one fish.
There is a sleeve on the back for hanging. 18 inches wide and 23 inches high. Cotton and silk fabrics.
